Donors in USA

IIT Gandhinagar (IITGN) Foundation is a charitable trust registered in the USA in 2010. Three US-based friends of IIT Gandhinagar initiated this with the sole aim of supporting the Institute through philanthropic financial contributions from US-based well-wishers. The Foundation will enable them to make US tax-exempt donations to IITGN.

IITGN Foundation welcomes donations from well wishers worldwide. Donations made in the US and India are generally tax deductible to the extent permissible by law. Please consult your accountant for your specific situation. Copy of determination letters of the US tax authority can be downloaded here.

The funds raised are used towards promoting excellence in fundamental research and support to students attending conferences as well enhancing research infrastructure to make it truly world class.
