Right from its inception, IIT Gandhinagar has been actively involved in the social upliftment of the people around the campus. IIT Gandhinagar envisioned and constituted the “Nyasa” to integrate social awareness into the student’s life. The Nyasa actively participates and overlooks the welfare of marginalized society in and around the campus through innovative ideas.

Nyasa has achieved a tremendous outreach through various outreach programs that directly contributed to about six hundred families around the IIT Gandhinagar campus in improving their livelihood. Some of the significant activities in the Nyasa involve open-air school, Sanjeevani, computer classes, festival celebrations, weekend fun sessions, women’s health awareness, entrepreneurship workshop, and summer camp, which helped develop a sense of belonging and facilitating the individual’s potential.

We invite your generous contributions to the IIT Gandhinagar Nyasa to support the following.

  • To provide financial support to the Nyasa and neighboring village kids by conducting workshops, education, and science fairs.
  • Conduct medical care camp support for kids and marginalized communities.
  • Provide livelihood support for the marginalized community in and around the IIT Gandhinagar campus.

Let’s start to be a part of the change in communities through empowerment and education.
